Our History

40 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Established and named by her mother Mohtarma Aisha Begam, Rose Beauty Parlour was launched in 1982 by Farhat Ehsan and her husband Sheikh Ehsan as a small beauty salon in Karachi. Today, as we mark the 40th year of our operations in Pakistan, we stand tall as one of the leading brands in the beauty industry of Pakistan.  Our transition from one single branch primarily offering bridal makeup services, to one of the fastest growing network of modern and full-service Beauty and Hair salons in Pakistan is earmarked with a vision to deliver experiences that not only move hearts and minds but also fuels passion for progress and growth.

Our clients are most dear to us and the relationships we have made with a diversified portfolio of clients from different cross-sections and socioeconomic groups are by far the biggest assets we have made over the years.  Client satisfaction lies at the core of our services.  Our staff is professionally trained and skilled not only at the art of the services they specialize in, but also in providing their clients the comfort and peace they are looking for when they enter our salons.  The services and the facilities across all our branches complement the same hygienic and relaxing atmosphere that our clients experience whenever they walk into any of our branches.

Over the span of 40 years, we have been monumental in launching and crafting professional careers of hundreds of female models who have later been or are presently considered highly successful in their modeling, advertising or acting careers in the entertainment industry all over the world.

Rose Beauty Parlour has been a forerunner in introducing modern beauty technology to Pakistan.  We were the first to introduce Lasers, Oxygenators, and other machines in the country, hence making world class beauty treatment options accessible to and affordable for the women of Pakistan.

As a responsible corporate citizen of Pakistan, we are also aware of our role in shaping up the lives of our people, especially the women of Pakistan.  We are committed to our vision to help people grow.   Our contribution  towards creating  employment opportunities for thousands of people (majority of which comprises of women) over the past forty years is a testament to our promise to empower our women with a sense of independence and pride by  helping them being a harbinger of happiness, prosperity, and hope for their families.

It is with this belief that I started Rose Beauty Parlour in 1982. Overcoming one challenge after another, my wife Farhat and I have been successful in bringing Rose to where it is today.

The journey of Rose however, is never-ending. There are new dreams to turn true and new milestones ahead to achieve. But I am confident that with the unflinching support of my team and my valuable clients, Rose will continue to grow further and scale new benchmarks of excellence in years to come.”

“Farhat Ehsan, the Managing Director of Rose Beauty Parlour (Pvt. Ltd.) is considered to be one of the pioneers of Pakistan’s Beauty industry. She introduced the concept of quality beauty services including bridal and party makeup to the common woman of Pakistan. Together with her husband Sheikh Ehsan, she laid the foundation of Rose Beauty Parlour in March 1982.

After receiving professional beauty education and training from abroad, Farhat decided to utilize her learning and knowledge for improving the standards of beauty treatment in Pakistan by employing modern beauty techniques and treatments available in other parts of the world locally.”
